Obokun Local Government Chairman Hon. Pastor Francis Olajiire Agboola And His Team Paid A Courtesy Visit to Hrm Anthony Obafemi Obisanya (the Adominasi Of Idominasi), Daboss Polytechnic – Idominasi, Alaafon, Kajola And Ayetoro Communities In Ward 04, Obokun Local Government; Osun State.

On Friday 4th April, 2024, Obokun Local Government Council Committee members led by the Council Chairman Hon. Pastor Francis Olajiire Agboola, accompanied by the Council Secretary Prince Adebangbe Adejorin, Hon. Fakowajo Olaoluwa (Super for Works), Hon. Adebayo Seun (Super for Education & Sports) and Hon. Sajuyigbe Ademola (Super for WESS) paid a courtesy visit to HRM Anthony Obafemi Obisanya (The Adominasi of Idominasi), in his palace and discussed some salent matters concerning development of the areas. Other area visited was Alaafon-Odominasi Maternity Center, Idominasi.

The said maternity centre located at Idominasi, Ward 04, Obokun local government has been in existence for long. While addressing the Council Committee members, His Royal Highness Oba Anthony Obafemi Obisesan gave kudos to the Governor of the state, Senator Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke for the light he has brought to the entire state and pray for God’s strength to finish strong. The Royal Father hence appeals to the government both at the state and local government level to help them equip the maternity to standard being the only one in the area. He also commended the local government chairman for good changes he has brought to the entire local government ever since he assumed the position.

While responding, the Chairman Hon. Pastor Francis Olajiire Agboola noted that it is very important for any government practising true democracy to invest in the health sector as it is the most important project for the people they are governing over. He then encouraged the users to manage what they have at the moment as his administration would then take a quick intervention on how to stock the maternity center with modern medical equipment as soon as possible as the welfare of the people remains his priority.

The Chairman and his team demonstrated their commitment to improve healthcare services across all the local government and promised a quick intervention for modern medical equipment and other needs of the community.

It is encouraging to see local authorities taking proactive steps towards enhancing healthcare infrastructure and services. The residents of Obokun local government can look forward to a better future with improved health facilities and access to quality medical equipment.

Similarly, the Chairman and his team also paid a courtesy visit to permanent site of DABOSS Polytechnic, Idominasi, and encouraged others to emulate the act of bringing individual efforts to librate and develop our communities. Kajola and Ayetoro communities in Obokun local government were not left out in the tour.
